The aim of the Hot
Sauce & Fiery Foods Festival.......
... was to create a festival that focuses on the
Australian Chilli Culture and Fiery Foods in a stunning outdoors location in
rural Victoria that's a stone's throw away from Melbourne. We hold the
festival every year at the Redback Chilli Co farm at Jindivick on
Jackson's Track, in scenic West Gippsland,Victoria and only 45 minutes
from Dandenong.
Now being the longest running Chilli festival in
Australia, from our humble beginnings in 2000 we have grown into one of the
most exciting events in Australia and have become the Premier Event of the
Fiery Foods calendar
More and more people are being attracted not only from
the local area, but also from across Victoria, Interstate and overseas.
Bringing together the best of
Australia's Chilli manufacturers, Gourmet Food, Wines, and Boutique Beers
in the one location for a unique weekend away.
So come along and enjoy a great weekend of family
fun, we have kids activities, Live Music, Games for all ages to join in on,
and not to forget Australia's BEST chilli products to taste and purchase.
A major segment of the weekend is the "Jindi Slam"
this is a fund raiser for the Local charites, with a special thanks to
our sponsors we have raised over $3,070.00 in 2 hours in 2006 with 200
people donating $15.00 to enter which got each person a shot of JoseQuervo
Tequila and the official Jindi Slam T/Shirt with 100% of the money raised
going to the Centenary House in Traralgon ( All in all, it's just another
brick in the wall?)
